If you have any questions at all, please contact our office. Our friendly front desk staff is ready to help in any way possible. At the same time, we want our patients to have the information they need readily available, which is why we’ve included the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about dentistry. Read on to satisfy your curiosity!
How do I get emergency dental care?
Your first step is to call our office. While we do allow patients to request appointments online, a phone call will always be much quicker. Plus, talking on the phone also makes it easier for us to walk you through what to do next. If you believe that your emergency is life-threatening, go to the nearest urgent care facility immediately. However, common dental emergencies like lost or damaged teeth should be treated at a dentist’s office. ER’s usually won’t have the instruments necessary to treat dental issues. In most cases, we’ll be able to see you on the same day of your emergency, helping you get out of pain and back to smiling.
How much does it cost to get a tooth pulled without insurance?
The cost of your treatment will vary based on the condition of your oral health as well as your geography. The average fee for an extraction in the US is between $150 and $400. If you have insurance, your provider will typically be able to cover part of your treatment for a discounted rate. Keep in mind that sedation or any other necessary treatments will come at an additional cost. Plus, wisdom teeth extraction will typically be more expensive because they require oral surgery.
What do you do if you can't afford a dentist?
Dentistry is all about prevention, which means that by attending routine checkups and cleanings, you can usually avoid more extensive and expensive dental work. If you have insurance, be sure to use your benefits and visit our office at least twice a year so we can prevent and detect dental issues before they get worse. If you don’t have insurance, we have low-to-no interest financing available. Plus, you can use Google to find any dental clinics available in your area.
How do I find the best place to get dental work done?
Finding the right dentist is all about asking yourself what exactly it is that you need. Do you have children that require pediatric dentistry? Do you want a cosmetic expert to correct flaws in your own smile? Once you’ve answered these questions, you can narrow your search. It’s a great idea to check reviews and testimonials to learn about the experiences of other patients. You should also talk to the staff at your potential dentist’s office to see if you feel comfortable speaking with them.
How can I make a same-day appointment with a dentist?
To make a same-day appointment, call our office immediately after you have a dental emergency. We will usually have an operatory room (dental chair) available that is reserved for urgent care situations. While you can make appointments online, we encourage you to contact our office by phone for the quickest assistance.
